Mac Apps Wish List
On the last post I talk about Mac apps I have bought, so now let me let you know what Mac apps are on my wish list.
CSSEdit, because is a text editor that is mainly use for HTML and CSS, so I can get back to my web site creating days.
Pixelmator, I recently bought a Canon Powershot SD1000, and I want to get into photo editing now that I’m a Mac user.
Billings, another time tracking and invoicing app, for my small business, I know I said I already own OnTheJob, but Billings has more features, and better invoice templets.
Art Text, so I can make cool buttons and art graphics for my web site.
Graphics Convertor, someone recommended this app to me, for the same reason as above, maybe I’ll buy it.
RapidWeaver, before I got Sandvox, RapidWeaver was my first option, but I feel Sandvox was more flexible, I still think I’ll buy RapidWeaver.
Delicious Library, to manage my WWE DVD collection and my tech books, just for fun, and to support the Mac developing community.
Awaken, yes I want to turn my MacBook into a 1,500 bucks alarm clock.
AppShelf, to manage my apps registration information, since I have bought so many in the last few month I thought it may be a good idea to get this app.
I’m hoping at lest 4 of this apps (Pixelmator, CSSEdit, Awaken, Delicious Library 2, Graphics Convertor, and RapidWeaver) come in this year MacHeist, since I really don’t want to buy each off those apps individually. I just want to show support for the Mac developers, by buying good apps. Art Text and AppShelf I’ll be buying soon, and Billing as soon as I can take out 60 bucks, since is this app is on the expensive side, but very useful app.
Buying Mac Apps
A couple of month ago, about 5 months ago now, I switch from Windows to Mac, one of the things I think Mac users do is that they don’t have a problem spending money to buy Mac apps, since the Mac developers are so willing to support the users and the apps them self are some cheap in a good way.
I think for me it all started when I formated my jail broken iPod Touch, and bought the Apple Apps from iTunes, that day I went legit. Since that day I began starting buying more Mac apps, and Mac apps I use the most, also I started paying for web apps I use a lot, like Flickr.

For example a list of Mac apps a bought is Mailplane, I love Mailplane because I have like six Gmail accounts and the Firefox Gmail Manager was just not cutting it. AppZapper, I have no idea why Apple didn’t think of this, this app is awesome, it does exactly what It says.I bought MarsEdit and Ecto, because of Leo Laporte of TWIT recommended this app on his MacBreak Weekly Podcast. This two apps are for blogging I got MarsEdit first, but I switch to Ecto once I got it because I feel it had more features. I also bought OnTheJob because of Scott Bourne recommended this app on the MacBreak Weekly Podcast also. This app is a time tracker and invoiceing, I plan to start my own Computer Consulting business and I feel this app did the job for a small business.
After that I bought more apps to feel more needs, I got 1Password to manage, my site passwords and apps licenses. I got Business Card Composer to created good looking business cards for my small business. ForkLift to manage files from my MacMini to my MacBook. I bought iShowU to make how to video tutorials for my business. I bought Snak because I love IRC, and I need to get my IRC fix from time to time. I bought Notebook and Disco, Notebook to talk notes at my classes, and Disco to burn data files mainly. I also got CheckUp, BlogAssist, Cha-Ching, and CuteClips, utilize that have a specific end and do there job right. CheckUp lets me know own my Mac is running, BlogAssist help me out with little most use HTML snippets, Cha-Ching for managing my Finances, and CuteClips to manage my clipboard, I use copy and past a lot, who doesn’t ?

The last couple of apps I got where TextMate, Coda, Transmit and Sandvox, mainly becuase I want to get back on my web page creating days. I have lots to learn since back when I did my first web site I use HTML, now days more web sites are writing in PHP so I’m reading to get caught up. TextMate is just a basic Text Editor for writing with Ruby On Rails, Coda is a fully feature coding environment. I love it is full of content and a very user friendly user interface. Transmit is an FTP client, and Sandvox is a fully feature web creating and management app, I absolutely love, I can’t wait to get my dreamhost account and domain, so I can put by web site up.
If you have any comment or question, or if you want me to give you a full feature review of any app I may have got, feel free to leave a comment on the blog.
Podcasting Equipment
For the past couple of months I been trying to put together a tech news podcast with my good friend Raul, we are using Skype to talk to each other and I bought Audio Hijack Pro from Rogue Amoeba, who came bundle with an audio editor Fission, to record the output from the Skype conversion.
First off I’m not an Audio guy at all, I’m a video guy, so I’m learning audio editing using Audacity, which is free open source and extremely user friendly.
But I’m still looking for equipments, like a good mixer and mic, for doing live podcast, and I came across the Behringer Podcasting Studio Firewire Kit.

I’m seeking users reviews about this product, if you have any information. please leave a comment.
Empty Trash
I found this picture on my good friend Raul Colon, TumblrLog, and it looked so cute, and I’m not even a Cat’s person.

Earthquake?

We have a say in it…

According to Latest News Story on Twitter and USA Today, The republican party in Puerto Rico, and all of there 20 delegates have voted in favor of John McCain, and I have to ask, where was Univision Puerto Rico or Telemundo of Puerto Rico when this all happen, why wasn’t I informed. I had no idea we had a say on the United States presidential race. This is why Puerto Rico is going down the tubes.JuST RaFy
